As you can see this is an adjustable ball mount which means that this platform here can travel up and down as necessary. There's two locks on here that use coke machine keys, there's one up top right here. This lock controls the pin that locks it into the hitch. This lock here facilitates the adjustments up and down the shank. We'll show you how the locks work starting with the hitch pin. Basically you take the key and twist it and you can see how the pin retracts when you want to slide it into the hitch. When you have it in the right spot, take the key back and it forces the pin back out. This does so on both sides. With the same key you can go down here, it pretty much works the same way, it just allows it to adjust in different increments.
